| At each of the impromptu shrines that have sprung up in the
city one or two seem to take responsibility. Mostly they are women and young
girls. Without fuss, they keep the candles lit, clear away trash and
puddled wax and generally tidy up. These places are growing louder now with music and media and debate. The women seem to do it for their own comfort. They don't make any noise. |
